bob kennedy emergency phone It's taken us a couple of years to get through all the logistics, but we're very proud to announce that there is now a dedicated emergency phone for dive accidents at the Avalon Underwater Park.

It's big and blue and in the case of a diving accident where you need emergency response, just push the red button, you'll be connected to the Avalon Sheriff's 911 dispatcher, and help will be on the way.

Bob Kennedy and Sheriff's Unit Commander Lt. Doug Fetteroll make the inaugural push of the button in this picture.
