NEW ADDITION TO THE AVALON UNDERWATER PARK
It's taken us a couple of years to get through all the logistics (and we still have to have the actual phone line hooked up early this week) but we're very proud to announce that there is now a dedicated emergency phone
for dive accidents at the Avalon Underwater Park.
It's big and blue and in the case of a diving accident where you need emergency response, just push the red button, you'll be connected to the Avalon Sheriff's 911 dispatcher, and help will be on the way.
Here's a pic of the phone with Avalon Mayor Bob Kennedy and Sheriff's Unit Commander Lt. Doug Fetteroll making the inaugural push of the button.
